Carolyne comes from London and has been a cook for the international several occasions since 2001.
Claartje started in 1990 and began partnering Eric in 1992. She works with
Eric two evenings a week.
Claartje has worked in Cape Town, Copenhagen, Gent, Turkey and Kassel.
Claartje loves teaching and is constantly working to improve her aptness.
She also offers workshops where the tango is treated from another point
of view.

Eric is the founder of el corte. Studied dance education at the Rotterdam
conservatory.
Has been dancing for 31 years. He began dancing the tango in 1987, inspired
by his tango father Pepito Avellaneda. He teaches on a regular basis in Nijmegen,
London, Cape Town and NYC. Many other cities are visited on a yearly basis.
Eric travels 150 days per year.
Henry is a host of el corte and shares love and life with Eric. He travels the world just to dance. Once a year he teaches with Eric.
Komala started tango dancing in 1990. She began her professional career
by teaching together with Eric in Nijmegen and on tour. She is also hostess
of El Corte.
She is now a frequently asked teacher with workshops all over the world.
( Most of the times with Stefan, her husband)
Lin is one of the el corte regulars, although she is Brussels based. She has the longest history. She has been part of el corte since the 'Knollenpad' ( el corte's first home ).
She has been an ambassador and a helping hand for many occasions.
Luc is the current master of reconstruction. He helps putting Eric's (often weird) ideas to become reality. Nowadays he maintains the hardware of the building.
Jacqueline studied dance and movement in Zutphen and dance therapy at
the Conservatory Hogeschool Enschede. She is also a qualified
Pilates teacher
Stefan is a host and a teacher of el corte. After discovering tango in his
previous residence Munich, he developed his own style in teaching and dancing.
In 1999 he came to Nijmegen to live his tango life and he met Komala...
Tilla, is el corte's steady regular, Frankfurt based, who knows the ins and outs. Tilla often slips into a managing role without being noticed (it's just like in her dancing). Tilla takes often care (with Komala) of the food logistics. Therefore she is the only el cortian with a golden sleeping card!
Monique has been dancing for about 20 years modern and classique
ballet. Toine learned already dancing as a kid in dance dedicated family and
practiced for years ballroom- and latin dancing.
They started dancing tango in Nijmegen in 1993. Their style is influenced
by various maestro(a)s, and can be described as: intense, playfull with a
continuing flow of harmony.
As teachers and performers they worked in several places in Holland and Europe.
